What TetherBox Does
TetherBox is both the software that runs on your edge device and the physical device itself. It transforms disconnected security equipment into a unified, remotely manageable system.

Tip: TetherBox continues recording even when Internet is unavailable. Once connectivity returns, footage automatically synchronises to the cloud.

All communication between TetherBox and TetherX Cloud is encrypted through a VPN with 4,096-bit SSL certificates. Each connection is challenged for reauthorisation weekly, and certificates can be revoked if suspicious traffic is detected.
Tip: As long as someone on site can access google.com, TetherBox can connect - no port forwarding or network changes required.
